Dr. Soltan is the principal dentist at the clinic. He has been practicing general dentistry in the UK for the past 20 years. Prior to that, he gained his BSC in Molecular Biology and worked for two years at Pharmacia, a leading pharmaceutical company in Sweden, before realizing his true ambition to become a dentist.
In 1998, he gained his University Degree in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Since then he has undertaken several post-graduate courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including Implantology, hard and soft tissue Laser, Computer Aided Design and manufacture of crowns and inlays(CAD-CAM).
He uses these advanced technologies as part of his everyday practice.
Paul Davies originally from Cardiff. Qualified at the Royal Dental Hospital in 1980. He did Certificate of restorative dentistry at the Eastman Hospital 1999, Certificate of implantology Advanced Implantology 2003 at the Stradbrook centre 2014. Paul regards himself as a general dentist with a special interest in implantology.
Qualified at the Royal Dental Hospital, London in 1981. I have worked for 32 years at the dental surgery in Rye. I enjoy traveling, most sports and still play those that my age allows! I have 4 grown up children but as yet no grandchildren!
After getting a degree in Environmental Biology, Felicity went on to study Dentistry at The London Hospital Medical College. She graduated in 1992 and then moved down to Rye. She has been working at Davies & Seeley ever since and so is a long-standing member of the team. She enjoys the variation of working in general practice and building relationships with the patients. Since having her son she works part time, and outside of work enjoys cookery, travel, and hill-walking with her family.
Marie-Claire Braithwaite has been as associate dentist in Rye since graduating from Kings in London in 2005. She has also been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons since passing the exams in 2007. She enjoys everyday dentistry, seeing families and is passionate about getting her patients to improve their oral health.
Marie-Claire is fluent in French and English. She is married with one toddler and when she did have spare time she used to play a lot of tennis and squash
My name is Malgorzata Grela ( known as Marge ).I qualified in 1996 from Silesian Medical University in Poland. I had worked in the private and public dental practices in Poland for 9 years. In 2005 I registered myself with the GDC and I came with my family to live and work in the UK. I spent 10 years working for an NHS Dental practice in Ashford. In 2014 I started a 2-year postgraduate training course in Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. I am currently working on the Diploma that is to be completed. Privately I am a proud mum of 3 children, a dog lover and I enjoy spending my pastime in nature-skiing, snorkeling, and walking mountains.
Tomos graduated from King’s College London and has passed examinations to become a member of Royal College of Surgeons, England. Tomos is currently undergoing Dental Implantology training and has recently achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Dental Care. He is also qualified in Adult Orthodontic Treatments, Facial rejuvenation and Anti-wrinkle Botox Treatments.
Outside Dentistry, Tomos has a passion for Opera and Singing and receives vocal training at Royal Academy of Music. He founded Sing2Smile, a new organisation working closely with SmileTrain, raising money for Cleft Lip and Palate Surgeries across the world through musical concerts showcasing young and exciting musicians across the UK. Most recently, he held a music concert in Rye, East Sussex which raised nearly £3500. Cleft repair surgery costs as little as £150 so this money will help pay for 23 children to have life changing surgery.
Dr. Huynh qualified from King’s College London in 2016. He has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, and takes pride in providing a holistic, gentle and caring approach to patient care. Kevin works very well with anxious patients who are apprehensive about receiving dental treatment, and has had many successes in providing comfortable and pain-free dentistry for these patients.
Outside of dentistry, Kevin is a keen musician – he plays electric guitar as his main instrument as well as dabbling in music production and live performances. He has played in a number of groups and bands of different styles, and enjoys writing and recording his own music.
Dr Anupam Rai graduated from SHarad Pawar Dental College in 2005.Dr. Rai then moved to U.K in 2007 and did her registration exam ORE.She has worked in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery for four years.During this period she completed her Member of Faculty Dental Surgery Exam from the Royal College of Surgeon Edinburgh.She has attended various Post Graduate Courses for Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Rai has been working in General Dental Practice for four years and is kind, compassionate and committed to providing the most suitable treatment to her patients.
Cassie has been working as a Dental Hygienist since 1996 she qualified from King’s College, London. In 2003 she obtained her Extended Duties Certificate and prior to that Cassie worked as a Dental Surgery Assistant. Cassie has been a continuous member of the British Society of Dental Hygienist & Therapy. Cassie joined the practice in 2013, she is a friendly and approachable person, who really enjoys all aspects of her job especially meeting people and helping them with their dental needs.
Clare Hammond qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000. Clare has spent time working in Community Dentistry, where she played an active role in the Oral Health Promotion Team, also treating a wide variety of patients unable to access general dental services. Since having a family, Clare works closer to home in several dental practices, where she has built up a loyal patient base. Clare regularly attends courses and keeps up to date with her professional development.
I graduated from Tg Mures Dental University in 2011. I joined the team at Davies and Seeley Dental Practice in January 2016. My goal is to help patients improve their oral health giving them all the support they need using a gentle and friendly approach. In my spare time I like to keep active and I love to travel. I enjoy skiing and cycling.
